DIVAC - Diaphragm vacuum pumps
Ideal for laboratory operations and as backing pumps for turbomolecular pumps
Precise, Reliable, Easy to use
The DIVAC family of diaphragm vacuum pumps are the smallest dry pumps available in our portfolio. Their maximum pumping speed ranges from 0.6 m³/h to 4.8 m³/h.
This range of vacuum pumps was developed especially for laboratory operations and as backing pumps for (wide range) turbomolecular pumps. It satisfies the highest expectations in terms of precision, reliability, and ease of use.
Based on the alternating displacement of a diaphragm, the gas is compressed through several stages of the diaphragm pump to achieve the compression. The diaphragm separates the pumped gases from any rotating parts, ensuring a clean and reliable gas transport. Diaphragm pumps are truly oil-free pumps with no risk of contamination from pump lubricants.

Flexible and easy to maintain
With typical operating hours of around 10.000 hours the DIVAC diaphragm pumps are very reliable.
The wide range of pumping options offers a great choice based on your application.
The DIVAC family has options for low ultimate pressure for backing turbo pumps, high peak pumping performance as well as chemical resistance. All pumps have no maximum continuous pressures and can operate continuously up to atmosphere or low overpressures. Different voltage configurations make these pumps suitable for worldwide operation. To reduce the service downtime: spare part kits are available for all pumps and include the necessary diaphragm as well as valves and gaskets. You can easily and quickly do this by yourself. All steps on how to service your DIVAC pump can be found in the user manual.
Oil-free and environmentally friendly
Thanks to the motor and gear being separated from the suction chamber by a membrane: the suction chamber is kept completely dry and oil-free.
This pure transfer prevents media contamination and provides a clean vacuum.
Being a completely oil-free pump there is no contaminated oil to dispose of. As a result the DIVAC family is also an environmentally friendly diaphragm pump.
Compact and quiet
The DIVAC pumps make for a comfortable work environment thanks to their small size and low noise level.
High chemical resistance
The DIVAC diaphragm vacuum pumps are usable with highly aggressive and corrosive gases, liquids and vapors.
The gas ballast allows for a more efficient pumping of vapors.
With their high vapor capacity these chemical resistant pumps are less sensitive to water condensation than other pumps. The water can condense in the pump and is moved out by continuous pumping.
Backing pumps for turbomolecular pumps
The DIVAC 0.8, 1.4, 3.8 and 4.6 series are optimized for the backing of turbomolecular pumps.
- They are a good fit for applications where low ultimate base pressures may be beneficial while having to maintain an oil free vacuum.
- They meet the requirements for a dry vacuum and a long service life.
- By offering a wide range of pumping speeds, the ideal size for each application may be chosen.
- All pumps are built with a compact design: they may be used both free-standing and integrated in applications or certain devices, and for this reason they are used in the areas of mass spectrometry, analytical and in general applications.
Optimal for almost all applications in the chemistry laboratories
Thanks to three different pumping speeds available for the same base pressure and through their modular design, the optimum pump system can be implemented for every application.
The DIVAC L series as well as the DIVAC 1.4 HV3C are fitted with chemically resistant membranes and valve materials. Those pumps are basically corrosion and solvent resistant since their parts in contact with the pumped medium are made of PTFE (Teflon), FFPM (Kalrez) and PVDF (Solef).
They are optimized for processes in chemistry labs where more aggressive gases may be present.
