In this comprehensive guide we will walk you through the essential steps to change your gauge tube for the Penningvac Transmitter. We’ll cover the necessary tools, safety precautions, and provide detailed instructions to ensure that you can successfully complete this task.
Before you start the process of replacing the gauge tube, ensure that you prioritize safety. Always adhere to the safety guidelines as found in manual 301106080. Following safety guidelines helps to prevent accidents and ensure a smooth installation process.
To begin the replacement process, you will need the housing removal tool. This tool is essential for accessing the removing the gauge tube. Locate the retaining clip near the top of the Penningvac Transmitter (PTR). Use the housing removal tool to partially pull out the retaining clip.
With the retaining clip partially pulled out, you can now use the housing removal tool to gently remove the rest of the retaining clip. Be cautious during this step to avoid any damage to the Penningvac Transmitter (PTR) housing.
Now that the retaining clip has successfully been removed, you can remove the old gauge tube. Carefully lift it upwards and out of the PTR housing. After removing the old gauge tube, it’s time to install the new one! Insert the new tube into the housing, making sure that it fits securely in place.
To ensure the new gauge tube securely in the housing, press the retaining clip back into position. This step locks the tube in place and prevents it from slipping or moving inside the housing.
Properly dispose of the old gauge tube in accordance with local regulations and environmental guidelines.
After completing the PTR gauge tube replacement, don’t forget to store your housing removal tool in a safe and easily accessible place.
