About us
Our Ireland office is based in Wexford, on the south side of Wexford Harbour, where we have a fully equipped service workshop with three in house engineers who service a wide range of vacuum pumps, calibrate gauges and service our leak detectors. Wexford is also home to our Customer Care team which includes order processing and service administration. The team can be contacted by email or phone Monday to Friday.
We also have two field service engineers who support customers with service and maintenance of their vacuum equipment. Whether customers have a maintenance agreement, or require ad-hoc support, our team will provide a reliable first-class service throughout your pump’s lifecycle, no matter where in Ireland it’s installed.
Our Sales Teams are field based in locations around the Ireland and are out and about every day supporting customers with their vacuum requirements.
Originally trading as ProVac Ltd, and the sole distributor of Leybold products and servcie throughout the 32 counties of Ireland since 1997, ProVac was aquired by he Vacuum Technique division of Atlas Copco Group in December 2021. In January2024 we changed our trading name to Leybold Ireland, placing us in a strong position to grow our sales and service business locally by leveraging the strength of the Leybold brand and position as a leader in vacuum solutions.
We are winners of the Composites Employer of the Year Award in 2021 and 2023, and in 2022 winners of the Composites Social Impact Award, showcasing our support for inclusion, diversity and wellbeing. In 2023 we were awarded Best Company Culture by the LAB Awards.

Since our founding in 1850, Leybold has written its chapter in industrial history and, not least through the groundbreaking inventions of Wolfgang Gaede, founded the worldwide vacuum industry.
