Leybold recognized by Vacuum Symposium UK

Leybold’s Dr Graham Rogers is announced 2023 recipient of the Harry Leck Memorial Medal by Vacuum Symposium UK

Dr Graham Rogers has been awarded the Harry Leck Memorial Medal.   The medal was presented during the Vacuum Symposium UK event on 13th June at the Daresbury Laboratory, where Graham hosted the technical sessions on Leak Detection.  The Medal is awarded for distinguished contributions to British scientific research and/or related scientific/technical communities, in the field of Vacuum Science and Technology.

“I am delighted to have received this recognition from Vacuum Symposium UK.   I know many of the past recipients of the Harry Leck Memorial Medal, so being part of this prestigious group has made me extremely proud.” Said Graham.  “Vacuum has been such an enormous part of my career, initially supporting customers in their applications and helping achieve the best solutions, but in my later career training those just learning about vacuum and the endless possibilities.  Being able to pass on my knowledge and experience has become a real passion of mine, and I can’t thank Vacuum Symposium UK enough for allowing me to be part of their training programmes over the past number of years.”
