EXTRUVAC CP
EXTRUVAC CP
The EXTRUVAC CP consists out of our proven, robust, cleanable and corrosion resistant CLAWVAC claw-type pumps complete with a selectable inlet filter and a control system.
Best fit for small and middle size extruders and perfect alternative to liquid ring pumps. High tolerance for water vapors. Various version with different filter concepts and controls available.
Typical polymers which can be handled with an EXTRUVAC CP system are Polyamide - PA, Polypropylene - PP, Polyethylene – PE, Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene – ABS and others.

EXTRUVAC VD
The EXTRUVAC VD systems utilize our air-cooled VARODRY screw-type pumps. These enable extruder operation down to <1 mbar. The pump can be protected by a wide range of inlet filters. The system is completed by a range of electric control options.
Vacuum system based on VARODRY are perfect fit for small size extruder with “less demanding” process like master batch production or compounding (mixing) with requirements process under pressure below 50 mbar for special plastics.

(PET Degassing systems) – The EXTRUVAC SP was developed as lowest maintenance vacuum system for the extremely demanding degassing of PET. It has a proven track record, as well for virgin material as also for the recycling, e.g., of bottle flakes.
The system is based on the SCREWLINE screw-type vacuum pump which excels with some outstanding capabilities for this market:
- Coldest dry pump on market. The only moderately warm internal temperatures enable water vapor handling but reduce the layer-building polymerization of extracted monomers to a minimum.
- Cleanability – The whole compression room can be self-cleaned by the end-user on demand.
EXTRUVAC SP systems enable the user to operate his extruder non-stop for a complete campaign of several weeks without any vacuum system maintenance.
