Leybold, as part of the Atlas Copco Group, is taking all necessary precautions to protect our employees and customers from the global novel Coronavirus outbreak. The Atlas Copco's Group Crisis Committee is following the worldwide situation closely. As the Covid-19 situation continues to evolve, Leybold remains committed to protecting our employees, safeguarding our operations, and minimising any impact on our customers.
General risk mitigation and contingency measures
We continue to implement a series of preventative measures at all our production facilities, service sites and offices, and will rigorously follow all national and regional guidelines and instructions to help contain the virus.
All non-critical international business travel is currently prohibited for all Leybold employees. Employees returning from business and private trips from locations identified as high-risk are asked to self-isolate and work from home for 14 days upon their return.
Locally, we are providing advice and support to all employees to increase vigilance and reinforce best-practice hygiene levels. Those that can perform their job from home are being asked to do so. All our employees working at or visiting customer sites will comply with any additional measures applied by our customers according to local needs and regulations.
Operation, productions and logistics
Over the coming weeks we will take all necessary action to minimise disruption at our manufacturing facilities and ensure delivery times of our products will not be impacted.
To reduce the risk of cross infection, all team members in our manufacturing facilities in non-critical operations and production roles are being asked to work from home where possible.
Delivery situations are being monitored on daily basis, and we currently do not see any reportable issues. However, due to shortages within global logistics capacities, delays in shipments outside of our control may occur. Should the situation change and have impacts on our business with you, we will inform you and endeavour to manage the situation in close alignment with you and your teams.
