Your Mission:
Maximize the sustainable growth of our service business across the territory by promoting sales of service products to new and existing customers, in accordance with agreed business plans, representing Leybold in a manner that all products are promoted.

  • Clarify and confirm the service contracts
  • Frequent visits with customers to target areas of business and promote and expand the current service contract portfolio during 3 days a week with support from telemarketing
  • To establish and maintain a competitive and profitable pricing policy together with field sales and finance
  • To establish new service agreements to provide trainings to clients
  • Promotion of training courses
  • To communicate and follow-up with customers to identify their needs and ways that OLV equipment can support those needs
  • To contribute to the development of new services to our client
  • Respond to customer complaints or request for repair cost reimbursement in an effective and efficient manner

Other duties:

  • To work with internal customers in a supportive and productive way in support of the goals of the company and not just the individual department
  • To liaise with the company's world-wide manufacturing plants
  • Assess and maintain 3rd party service groups

We expect

  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering or technician with substantial work experience
  • Understanding of what value-based selling intends for Service business
  • Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/ technical developments
  • Working in an industrial environment, ideally with engineering background
  • Communicative and negotiation skills, open minded
  • Confident in interaction with end customers
  • Intensive travelling activity > 40% in the UK
