Technical Support Engineer - Leybold Korea

Provide best technical consulting & solution to the customer, sales, field service with products expertise in timely manner and most effective way to maximize customer (internal & external) satisfaction, which including trouble shooting and any other technical inquiries

Focus on the period from installation to warranty expiration, but not limited to this period

  • Provide professional technical consulting to the customer and to sales channel including installation, commissioning, operation and any other technical inquiries
  • Provide best technical solution to the customer (internal & external) for trouble shooting and also guideline to Field Service Team 
  • Smooth and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders (Divisional technical experts, Local Complaint Manager, Field Service Engineer, Sales Engineer) to find best solution when face customer complaint in products
  • Proactive support sales team and customer to maximize the performance and value of new products after installation with in-depth knowledge of the products
  • Technical Training to the Employees and Indirect Sales Channels and Customers (focus on operation and trouble shooting and maintenance)
  • Other technical and market information gathering and sharing with Sales Team to increase the common understanding in market and its technical trend to increase the chance to the market

  • Understanding of Engineering (Mechanical, Electric & Electronics) and related educational background or experience
  • Understanding of Industrial Market Sector and related Technical Processes & Terminology
  • Analytical skill and skill to find best solution
  • Quick and good understanding capability when training new technology and products
  • Presentation skill
  • Communication & interpersonal skills, team spirit
  • Customer oriented mindset and attitude
  • English communication skill (Read/Write/Speaking) for communicating with global team
